People be hating on Glee because of its controversial issues.

Especially people who do not watch the show and judge it from a 20 second scene.

Glee talks about controversial issues because a lot of what we do with in life are controversial. Sex. Equality. Alcohol. Religion. It talks about all these things and more and gives us both sides of the view to let views understand the actions and consequences of each decision we make in life.

That it’s okay to have sex before your married but to be careful and make sure you’re ready.

That it’s okay to be gay, lesbian, and transgender, and that they face all the same issues with school, work, and love as straight people.

That it’s okay for people under the drinking age to drink, but, again, be careful and safe.

That people with different religions can still be friends and still respect each other.

Sure, the show makes it super cheesy and corny to prove its point and perhaps it’s to idealistic, but in a way, isn’t that a good thing? We all make mistakes in life and are different, but I believe He made us that way. Glee teaches nobody is the bad guy in life for who we are and what we have done. It helps teaches us we are just human and we must carry ourselves to the top, especially those who need it the most. Like me

So before you begin bashing on the show calling it “ridiculous” and that “if you’re smart…don’t watch this show” (yeah I’m calling you out my non-tumbling friend) thinking of people who understand it’s message when you can’t; how some people need this push every Tuesday to feel just a bit better about themselves.

So all I’m trying to say is:

I love this boy :)

I love this boy :)
